Bolton Cabinet Business Damaged in Blaze: Reports
Dean Cabinetry, a family-owned and operated business, had to relocate its office and production facilities because of the fire.
BOLTON, CT — A fire damaged the Dean Cabinetry business on West Street Friday, according to multiple media outlets.
The family-owned and operated business, at 25 West St., has about 35 employees and specializes in kitchen cabinetry, according to its website.
Firefighters were summoned to the scene around 7:15 a.m, and the fire caused damage to the building and some of the business’ inventory, according to WFSB.

Emergency responders had to close part of West Street, or Route 85, as they worked to put the fire out.
Everyone inside the building when the fire started was able to make it out safely, according to Fox61.

The business posted on its Facebook page that it is taking proactive steps to ensure minimal disruption to its operations.
As of Friday afternoon, it had already relocated its office and production facilities, according to the Facebook post. The company anticipates the fire will cause no more than a one or two week delay in its workflow.
“The Dean Cabinetry team is resilient, and we’re committed to overcoming this challenge,” the company said, in the post. “We are incredibly grateful to our local fire departments and all the first responders who worked tirelessly to contain the fire.”
