Child Hospitalized After Dog Bite In New Britain
The dog is currently under quarantine due to the incident, according to the city.

NEW BRITAIN, CT — A 10-year-old boy was injured Sunday evening when a dog bit him on Carver Street.
Rachel Zaniewski, communications director for the city, said police were summoned to 81 Carver St. around 6:30 p.m. for a report of a dog biting a child.
The child was taken to Connecticut Children’s hospital in Hartford for treatment and monitoring, and is currently in stable condition, according to Zaniewski.

The dog belongs to residents on Carver Street, and the boy does not live at that address, she said.
The dog’s owners have been cooperating with Animal Control, according to Zaniewski. The dog is currently on a 10-day, in-home quarantine because of the incident.
