Connecticut Native Returns To Join WFSB-TV

The Rocky Hill-based station's newest reporter graduated from Francis T. Maloney High School and Temple University.

A former WFSB-TV intern has returned to the Rocky Hill-based station as a reporter.

Taylor Knight, who interned at the station while in college, recently joined the WFSB staff, after leaving WWLP-TV in Springfield, Massachusetts in April, The Laurel reported.

Knight was with WWLP for just over seven years, starting out at the station as a multimedia journalist.

She earned a degree in Journalism from Temple University in Philadelphia, during which time she also interned at NBC Sports Philadelphia.

Like at other Connecticut stations, WFSB has had its share of departures in recent months. Longtime anchor Irene O'Connor left in February, and meteorologist Melissa Cole left the station at the end of 2024.
