This Is Connecticut's 'Most Beautiful' Restaurant, New Ranking Says
"The 50 Most Beautiful Restaurants in America" list was developed by OpenTable in celebration of People magazine's 50th anniversary.
CONNECTICUT — Siena, located at 9 High St. in New Haven, is the most beautiful restaurant in Connecticut, according to a new 50-state list from People Magazine.
People said the 50 Most Beautiful Restaurants in America list was developed by OpenTable in celebration of the magazine’s 50th anniversary.
“These super-stylish stunners deliver unforgettable dining experiences,” People said. “There are mountaintop chalets with modern rustic touches, glammed-up Art Deco mansions with a view, and mirror-and-glass paneled sky-high stunners.”

People's editors were particularly impressed with Siena's "vibrant stained-glass windows," and "sleek, turquoise-hued bar," which they said "set the tone for the Blake Hotel’s lively lobby restaurant."
According to its website, "Siena Ristorante offers seasonally inspired Italian cuisine made the way nonna used to. From our homemade pastas and fresh seafood, to our mouth-watering antipasta and other signature dishes!!"

Restaurants in surrounding states that got the nod as the most beautiful are:
Wuson Road in Cambridge, MA, a tiki-themed eatery where the "maximalism reigns,"dripping from the "thatched overhangs, 1970s-era peacock chairs, and tropical wallpaper;"
Verōnika in New York City, tucked away inside the Avant-Garde Fotografiska photography museum, where the restaurant's Roman & Williams-designed interiors are a "luxury escape;" and
Cara in Newport, RI, a "gorgeous former mansion in Newport Beach" which serves as "the intimate setting for this fine-dining restaurant with Atlantic Ocean views."
