The Connecticut State Police have released their tally of all the mayhem on Connecticut roadways this past holiday weekend.
CONNECTICUT — Connecticut State Police have compiled the 2025 Thanksgiving Weekend Traffic Statistics, covering the time period beginning at midnight Wednesday, Nov. 26 and ending at 11:59 p.m., on Sunday, Nov. 30.
- Calls for Service: 5,298
- Total Traffic Stops: 1,275
- Traffic Services (Where CSP provided traffic related services such as debris removal, assisting with disabled or hazardous motor vehicles etc.): 413
- DUI: 30
- Motor Vehicle Crashes: 475
- …with Injuries: 31
- …with Serious Injuries: 0
- …with fatal injuries: 2 (Groton, Montville)
