CT News Anchor Leaves Station Less Than 6 Months After Joining It
The television news veteran has held multiple anchor jobs in the state.
CONNECTICUT — Less than six months after starting at Fox61, Alexa Farrell announced this week on Facebook that she's leaving the Hartford-based station.
"The plan was never to stay for a long time, but the people and the stories from here will stay with me forever," she wrote, adding that her tenure at Fox61 was "incredibly special."
As for what the future holds, Farrell did not disclose, but she added a television emoji at the end of her announcement.

Farrell joined Fox61, the station she grew up watching, following a nearly six-year stint at News 12 in both New York and Connecticut.
Additionally, Farrell has worked at WVII/WFVX in Bangor, Maine, and at WTNH-TV in New Haven.
