CT Television News Anchor Gives Birth To Baby Boy

Fox61's Jenn Bernstein gave birth last week.

CONNECTICUT — It's a boy, for Fox61 news anchor Jenn Bernstein.

The veteran TV journalist announced on social media the birth of her second child, Barrett Philip, who joins older brother, Wyatt.

"We are doing well and enjoying this new journey as a family of four," she wrote. "Thank you for all the kind messages over the last few months!"

Bernstein was a general assignment reporter at Fox61 from 2010-12, left and returned in 2014. During her two years away, she reported for Philadelphia's CBS affiliate, KYW-TV.

She is a Simsbury native, who also graduated from Simsbury High School.

Before her television jobs in Connecticut and Pennsylvania, Bernstein worked at stations in Buffalo and Albany, New York.

Bernstein also won an Emmy Award while at Fox61 in 2015 for her story, "Anatomy of An Attack Ad," which looked at the contentious gubernatorial election between Dannel Malloy and Tom Foley.
