Late Monday/Tuesday storm details

"Rain chances will increase after midnight, so keep the rain jackets on standby for tomorrow morning," said WFSB 3 TV Meteorologists Jill Gilardi with Mike Slifer. "The approaching low will bring showers before sunrise on Tuesday. Periods of rain will continue through the day. Temperatures climb into the mid and upper 40s, certainly cooler than the last couple days, but still above average for this time of year. Given the milder temps, there is no concern for anything frozen with this.

Wednesday Night/Thursday storm details

"Another area of low pressure comes at us on Wednesday into Thursday. The start time of rain is still a little uncertain, though the trend is late PM Wednesday and definitely at night," Gilardi and Slifer said. "Before the rain arrives, it will be mostly cloudy and mild. Temperatures will rise into the upper 50s and lower 60s. That’s close to record highs, the previous record in the Hartford area is 65° set in 2022. Rain will be ongoing Thursday morning, but how soon the rain exits is all still up in the air. We’re already in the level 1 risk for excessive rainfall Wednesday night into Thursday... there are some model indications that at least an inch of rain is possible statewide, if not more."

Saturday/Sunday storm details

"A coastal low could develop and bring a variety of precipitation types to the Northeast late Saturday into Sunday. For now, we are leaning with more rain in CT and better chances for wintry precipitation in northern New England," Gilardi and Slifer said. (Watch/read more at WFSB 3 TV).
