CONNECTICUT — We shouldn't get use to the warmer weather on Monday as things will be trending much cooler on Tuesday through Thursday, but then we'll moderate once again in time for next weekend.

We'll see a mix of sun and clouds and temperatures into the 50s on Monday afternoon. Temperatures will be just around 40 degrees on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and some snow flurries are possible. Some northern areas of the state will see temperatures only into the 30s on Wednesday and Thursday.

"We’re giving you the FIRST ALERT to a colder pattern beginning tomorrow and lasting through Thursday," wrote WFSB 3 TV Meteorologist Jill Gilardi with Scot Haney. "...For now, we are forecasting high cloudiness to start tomorrow (Tuesday) with lows in the 30s and highs in the lower 40s, then we’ll see thickening clouds tomorrow night with a chance for flurries. Scattered clouds and the chance for flurries will linger into early Wednesday. No travel impacts are expected. Dress for 20s in the morning and 30s in the afternoon on Wednesday. Temps will be in the teens and lower 20s to start on Thursday, and highs will only be in the 30s once again. The Normal high for this time of year is 45. Data signals another warm up for next weekend with rain developing either Saturday evening or Sunday evening." (Read/watch more here at WFSB 3 TV).
