CONNECTICUT — Last week featured several snow opportunities, including a widespread, significant snowstorm.

This week will be dull in comparison, but there is still a storm that is emerging for the late Thursday/Friday timeframe. For most of us, the precipitation is expected to be plain rain but there is a chance for some wintry precipitation in parts of Connecticut too.

"We remain dry through the daylight hours of Thursday, but by then cloud cover increases as a storm system approaches from the west. While there could be a brief period of a wintry mix at the onset Thursday night, it’s scattered rain showers that appear likely for our Friday with highs in the mid-40s. It’s still an evolving timeframe, so keep checking back with us..." said WFSB 3 TV Chief Meteorologist Mark Dixon with Scot Haney. (Read/watch more at WFSB 3 TV).
