'Potent' Storm To Arrive: Timeline, New Details Released
A timeline has been released for a "potent storm system" that will bring significant impacts to Connecticut.

CONNECTICUT — Forecasters say a "potent storm system" will bring significant impacts to Connecticut on Wednesday evening.
"A potent storm system with a history of producing snow in the Northern Plains and a severe weather threat in the Deep South moves our way today," said WFSB 3 TV meteorologists.
Because the temperatures are in the 50s the precipitation will be all rain here.

"Our First Alert Weather Day continues! As expected, it’s a wet and windy evening across CT. Gusts could possibly top 40 mph, and out of the south in tandem with the upcoming high tide cycle, minor inundation is possible along the CT coastline. Otherwise, expect rain, heavy at times (a rumble of thunder can’t be ruled out), ending by midnight (from west to east). In total, we’ll pick up between 0.5 and 1.5″ (perhaps locally higher amounts)… this much rain could lead to poor drainage, nuisance type flooding in prone areas. Thereafter, spotty showers are possible with patchy fog developing as temperatures remain steady (near 50)," said WFSB 3 TV meteorologists.
