" Later this afternoon and evening, we’ll run the risk for strong to severe thunderstorms as a disturbance moves into New England," wrote WFSB 3 TV Chief Meteorologist Mark Dixon with Scot Haney. "Not only will damaging wind gusts and hail be possible, but some storms could rotate leading to a concern for a tornado somewhere in the region – we’ll be monitoring the situation closely. Isolated flooding is also a possibility from torrential rain that develops." (Watch more at WFSB 3 TV).
