WFSB 3 TV Chief Meteorologist Mark Dixon with Scot Haney said we'll feel the humidity increasing and temperatures will approach 90 degrees.

"We have our Alert in place for tomorrow, as showers and thunderstorms will be possible. It won’t be raining all the time, but provided the atmosphere will be loaded with moisture, when it does rain, it could be heavy at times," WFSB 3 TV said. "With the possibility of 1-2″ of rain (locally more), atop the already saturated ground, there will be a renewed risk for poor drainage, flash and river flooding. Additionally, we’ll be watching for any storms that develop to be strong to severe (the greatest concern will be damaging wind gusts)."

Dixon and Haney said the weekend won't be a washout, and on Saturday there is a chance for an "isolated/pop-up storms."

"Sunday, they’ll likely be more scattered/widespread. Again, with our recent wet weather and anticipated wet weather, we’ll have to monitor what will become an ongoing threat for additional flooding from additional rain that could be heavy," the WFSB 3 TV meteorologists wrote.
