CT Weather: Snow Squalls Tuesday, More Snow Wednesday

Here are new details on the chance for accumulating snow in our forecast for Connecticut.

CONNECTICUT — It looks like it will be an active weather pattern this week in Connecticut, with multiple chances of snow.

WFSB 3 TV meteorologists said on Tuesday "an approaching front...will trigger snow showers/squalls to develop before sunrise and then again after sunrise, before we see clearing by late morning/early afternoon."

"Any snow squalls that do develop can quickly drop visibility and produce a coating of snow making things slick," WFSB 3 TV meteorologists said.

And our next snow chance is on Wednesday, as "a clipper system dropping out of Canada is expected to pass through northern New England. We’ll see some light snow! As we see it now, this will be a low impact event, but the possibility of an inch or 2 of snow does exist, especially for northern CT."

And then there is a chance for some snow, sleet, freezing rain, and plain rain for next weekend, but that remains completely up in the air depending on the track of the potential storm. (Read/watch more at WFSB 3 TV).
