CT's Popular Free Admission Program Back For Summer 2022
Children, plus one adult, can get free admission to more than 130 attractions, including Mystic Aquarium and Beardsley Zoo.
CONNECTICUT — The state is bringing back its popular Connecticut Summer at the Museum program for the 2022 summer season. Connecticut children 18 and under, plus one accompanying adult, can receive free admission to more than 130 museums and attractions across the state.
The program will run from July 1 to Sept. 5 and is funded through American Rescue Plan Act grants.

- Connecticut Science Center, Hartford
- Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo, Bridgeport
- Hill-Stead Museum, Farmington
- Institute for American Indian Studies Museum & Research Center, Washington
- Kidcity Children’s Museum, Middletown
- Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk, Norwalk
- Mystic Aquarium, Mystic
- Mystic Seaport Museum, Mystic
- Prudence Crandall Museum, Canterbury
Residents should check participating attraction websites to learn of any restrictions, such as block-out dates.
