Defending Champion Tops Initial Poll Of State Field Hockey Coaches
All eight coaches voting in the poll picked the 2023 Class L champion as Connecticut's top high school team.

CONNECTICUT — Defending Class L champion Staples High School of Westport earned the top nod from all eight coaches voting in the initial Connecticut field hockey poll of the 2024 season.
Class L runner-up Darien placed second, while Class M titleholder Daniel Hand of Madison was third.
