Driver Killed After Crashing Into State Police Truck In Chaplin: PD
A woman was killed after she crashed head-on into a state police truck on Route 6 Wednesday.

CHAPLIN, CT — A Windham woman was killed after she crashed head-on into a state police truck Wednesday, according to police.
Driver Lindsey Bidwell, 33, was traveling westbound on Route 6 in Chaplin when she crossed over the double yellow line and struck an eastbound Ford F-350 state police truck. The F-350 rolled over after the impact.
Bidwell was transported to Hartford Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. The operator of the F-350, Craig Brezniak, was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
