Reporter Angelo Bavaro, who left Fox61 in January, is back, but now on different air waves.
The veteran journalist has joined Fox News Radio in New York as a news anchor, he announced on Facebook.
"Thanks to everyone who’s reached out with well wishes as I start a new chapter," Bavaro wrote. "Excited to join the Fox News FOX News Radio team in NYC as a News Anchor for FOX News Headlines 24/7. Listen nationwide on SiriusXM Ch. 115."

Bavaro had been at Hartford-based Fox61 since March 2020, and graduated from the University of Maryland in 2017.
Before Fox61, Bavaro was a reporter and weekend anchor at WBOC-TV, covering the Delmarva Peninsula in Maryland.

The move to Fox News Radio was well-received by Bavaro's fans.
"Best best best of luck to you Angelo," wrote Robert Cepelak on Facebook. "Your face is notably absent from Fox 61. We miss you up here in Connecticut. We will certainly check you out on Sirius channel 115. Be well."
"Congratulations, Angelo!!" wrote Paula Page Rignall. "I have been listening to your broadcasts and you are very gifted. Looking forward to listening to you on SiriusXM Ch. 115."
Bavaro's departure from Fox61 was one of several since the beginning of the year at stations throughout Connecticut.
"Congrats Angelo!" wrote David Hansen. "You’ve landed on your feet, and that’s the most important thing to do! All of the CT stations seem to have lost their minds!"
