Are you looking to purchase a house in Connecticut? Niche.com, which crunches tons of data concerning the best and worst places to live across the country has created a new list of the best places to buy a house in Connecticut.
At the very top of the list is Avon, followed by Weatogue, which is a village in Simsbury, and then West Simsbury, Andover, and Salem round out the top five. Three of the top six all have a Simsbury connection. And typically, Fairfield County tends to dominate numerous Connecticut-based lists, but not this time. Hartford County dominates this latest list from Niche.com.
"The 2018 Best Places to Buy a House ranking provides a comprehensive assessment of the housing and community of an area. This grade takes into account key factors of a location’s housing market, including home values, taxes, crime rates, and quality of local schools, in an attempt to measure the quality and stability of an area’s real estate market.
