It's A Girl For WTNH-TV's Laura Hutchinson
On Monday, the veteran TV news anchor announced the birth of a daughter.
CONNECTICUT — Veteran WTNH-TV anchor Laura Hutchinson gave birth to a daughter over the weekend, her second child, she announced on Twitter Monday.
"She’s 8lb 5oz and has already brought so much love to our family," Hutchinson wrote of daughter Lucy June, who was born on Saturday. "Can’t wait for her to meet her brother today and watch this little one grow!"
In addition to Lucy June, Hutchinson and her husband also have a son named Jack, who the WTNH team also mentioned in its congratulatory tweet to Hutchinson.

"Both mom and baby are doing well, and big brother Jack is very excited to meet his new sister today!" station officials wrote.
Hutchinson, a Hamden native, has been with News 8 since 2015, and she co-anchors "Good Morning Connecticut" with Keith Kountz.

Before joining the News 8, Hutchinson worked for six years at Springfield, Massachusetts-based WWLP-TV, and before that, she was at WENY-TV News in Elmira, New York.
