KILLINGLY, CT — Independence Day is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on in and around Killingly for 2023.

What: Red, White & Blue Celebration
Where: Owen Bell Park in Killingly
When: Friday, June 30 and the rain date is July 7

According to an event page on Facebook, the event will be held from 5 p.m. until 9:15 p.m. There will be a food vendor court beginning at 5 p.m. There will also be entertainment, including the KPRD Community Drumming Circle Led by Kelly and Ed McClellan from 4:30pm-6pm in the softball field.
The event is free. The band RED LIGHT! hits the stage starting at 6:30 p.m. playing until the fireworks display begins. (Read more about the event here).
