Man Threw Rocks At Cars, Slashed Tires In Putnam: Police
Multiple vehicles were damaged in the vandalism spree, police said.

PUTNAM, CT — A local man is accused of throwing rocks at passing vehicles and slashing tires in an apparent vandalism spree Saturday afternoon, according to police.
Police on Saturday received a 911 call around 2:35 p.m. reporting that a man was damaging vehicles in the north end of town.
Police said the man slashed the tires of multiple parked vehicles as he walked through the neighborhood.

Duncan M. Souza, 26, of 144 Bibeault St., was charged with second-degree breach of peace, 10 counts of third-degree criminal mischief, and two counts of second-degree criminal mischief.
Officers arrested him on Breault Street. According to police, he had a box cutter in his possession.

Souza was arraigned in Superior Court in Danielson on Monday.
