Meet Connecticut's Canine Officers: Another Organization That's All For The Paws
Patch takes a look at one organization dedicated to the dogs that serve.

CONNECTICUT — The June segment highlights another organization, Blue Line Jars, whose mission is simple — "supporting paws that protect."
The organization, based out of West Haven, initially started during the pandemic with delivering candy in mason jars and has now grown into an organization that has supplied Narcan kits, first- aid tools, and gear to departments that have limited resources.
This year, 2025, marks Blue Line Jars' fifth year in business and it has brought on a new program called "Uno's Legacy," a support program for those canines entering retirement. It offers medical expenses free of charge for the dogs and their handlers.

Throughout the year, Blue Line Jars hosts/sponsors various events across the state to allow for allocation of funds whenever the need arises.

In addition, Blue Line Jars is a Gold Paw Sponsor for one of the obstacles at the 33rd Connecticut Canine Olympics, which is staged in late September in Enfield.
All events, merchandise, and canines they have supported are available on the Blue Line Jars website: https://bluelinejars.com/.
