Mega Millions Jackpot Now At $1.25 Billion, Top CT Prize Is $40,000
The Connecticut Lottery said 57,795 "winning" Mega Millions tickets were sold in the state. No one won the $1.1 billion jackpot.
CONNECTICUT — No one won the $1.1 billion Mega Millions jackpot on Tuesday, Aug. 1 and the jackpot has risen to $1.25 billion on Friday, Aug. 4, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
The estimated cash value is $625.3 million. According to the Connecticut Lottery, 57,795 "winning" tickets were sold in the state. This means someone won between $2 and $40,000 in Connecticut.
Here is the breakdown of those 57,795 "winning" tickets in CT:

- 1 person won $40,000 by matching four numbers and the Mega Ball
- 18 people won $2,000
- 36 people won $800
- 23 people won $500
- 61 people won $200
- everyone else won between $2 and $40
The winning numbers for Tuesday, Aug. 1 are: 8-24-30-45-61. The Mega Ball is 12. The Megaplier is 4.
According to the Connecticut Lottery, the Mega Millions drawing takes place Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. and wagering stops at 10:45 p.m.
