Motorcyclist Killed After Crash With Car Near Walmart Driveway, ID Released: State Police

A Jeep and a motorcycle were attempting to enter a local Walmart complex at the time of the crash.

BROOKLYN, CT — Edward A. Sabourin, Jr., 63, of Dayville, was killed in a 2-vehicle crash near a local Walmart on Saturday afternoon, state police said.

A 2007 Grand Cherokee Jeep driven by a 16-year-old was traveling eastbound on Route 6, and attempted to turn into the driveway of the Walmart at 450 Providence Road, in front of a 2007 Harley-Davidson motorcycle traveling westbound on Route 6, state police said.

The driver and the passengers in the Jeep were not injured but Sabourin sustained serious injuries and was pronounced dead.
