CORNWALL, CT — Let's start off 2025 with a classic look at an iconic part of northwest Connecticut — and the snow sports industry.

It's a look at the classic and popular main lodge at Mohawk Mountain, as seen from a spot adjacent to the Deer Run Triple Chair.

Mohawk is famous for its old-school charm, instilled by founder Walt Schoenknecht, who opened the mountain for skiing in 1947. Part of that feeling has never left the lodge.
