Popular CT News Anchor Announces Baby News
It's the first child for the television news personality and her husband.
It's a boy for WTNH-TV's Alyssa Taglia and her husband, Chris.
Taglia, a morning anchor and traffic reporter, is a former Miss Connecticut 2016, and she and Chris welcomed Greyson Peter to the world on Aug. 23, the same date as Alyssa's birthday.

Taglia announced her pregnancy in March, saying that her due date was in late August, and thanked her colleagues and fans for the support.
She is a graduate of Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and enrolled in the New York Film Academy’s Broadcast Journalism program on a full scholarship.

Her Channel 8 colleagues gushed about the new edition this week.
"Look at this cutie!" said anchor Kathryn Hauser, while announcing the new addition.
