Popular Food Truck To Open Smokehouse Restaurant In CT

BRISTOL, CT — A popular food truck in Bristol will open a restaurant in the Terryville section of Plymouth.

Steve's Top Dog and Smokehouse will open July 14 at 11 a.m. The restaurant will be located at 18 Main St. in Terryville.

The restaurant will serve a wide range of burgers, kebabs, poutine, soups, salad, and more, according to the menu on its Facebook page.

The owner posted on Facebook that "our restaurant was designed to offer a distinct dining experience, one that diverges from our food truck concept. 'More than a hot dog guy.'" The owner also expressed his appreciation to loyal customers.

"While I have worked diligently to establish my business, I am keenly aware that Steve's Top Dog and Smokehouse is, in reality, a testament to the loyalty and dedication of our valued customers."

He noted that some menu items may not have transitioned to the restaurant, but that the food truck "will continue to operate in the park, serving our signature menu items Monday through Friday."

The Steve's Top Dog food truck has a 4.9-star rating on both Google and Facebook. The truck is located at Stocks Playground in Bristol.
