Staples Unanimous Selection As Top Field Hockey Team In Connecticut
A panel of eight state high school field hockey coaches unanimously voted the Class L champion Wreckers as the top squad in the state.

CONNECTICUT — After soundly defeating FCIAC rival Darien 5-2 in the Class L field hockey finals Saturday, it seems only fitting that Staples High School was deemed the top team in the state by a panel of coaches.
All eight voters gave their top nod to the Wreckers, who took home their second straight state crown. Darien placed second, while Class M winner Guilford was third.
Here are the top 10, as well as all other schools receiving votes.
