SUV Crashes Into Physical Therapy Business In Terryville: FD

PLYMOUTH, CT — An SUV crashed into a physical therapy business in the IGA Plaza Monday morning in Terryville, fire officials said.

The accident happened around 11:15 a.m. at 311 Main St., according to the Terryville Volunteer Fire Department.

The SUV went into the front of the business and came to rest inside, fire officials said.

The driver and the people who were inside the business all safely evacuated after the accident, and they were waiting outside for emergency personnel.

No one was injured inside the building. The SUV’s driver was taken to a local hospital for a medical evaluation, according to the fire department.

Fire personnel secured the scene and turned it over to the building inspector’s office.
