Tournament Pairings Announced For CIAC Football Playoffs

CONNECTICUT — Four dozen high school football teams in Connecticut can still realize their dreams of winning a state championship, as the CIAC has posted the six divisional playoff brackets.

First-round games are all slated for Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 6:30 p.m. at the homes of the higher-seeded teams. Semifinal matchups are scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 8, also at the higher-seeded teams' home sites, with kickoffs set for 12:30 p.m.

Two championship games will be played Friday, Dec. 13, and four more will follow on Saturday, Dec. 14. Three games will take place at Rentschler Field in East Hartford and at Arute Field at Central Connecticut State University.
