Weston, DEEP Offer Free Family Fishing Class

The introductory course is for families, ages 8 and up.

WESTON, CT -- The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection's Aquatic Resources Education program (CARE) is offering a "Learn to Fish" program in Weston.

There will be a classroom component, taughta t the Weston Senior Center on July 9, and an aquatic component to be held at the Saugatuck Reservoir Anglers Dock on July 12. Both classes will be from 6-8 p.m.

These introductory family classes are for ages 8 and up, during which the basis of fish and fishing will be taught by experienced instructors.
