Woman Killed After Car Crashes In Woodstock, ID Released: State Police
The ID of the person killed in the crash has been released by authorities.

WOODSTOCK, CT — Elise Marie Ortiz, 35, of Willimantic, was killed in a one-vehicle crash in the town of Woodstock, state police said.
Ortiz was driving a 2011 Toyota Camry northbound on Roseland Park Road approximately one-tenth of a mile South of Arvidson Road at an unknown speed, state police said.
The car veered off the roadway to the right, striking approximately 40' of wooden fence, state police said.

The Camry continued traveling north, striking a utility pole on the northbound shoulder, state police said.
The car then traveled down an embankment, where it came to a final rest against a standing tree, state police said.

Ortiz was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash is under investigation.
