Barley Has Been Found

Barley, the four-month-old golden retriever puppy who got spooked and ran away April was found and returned Friday.

"We think he was in the woods all this time," said Mrs. Drumski. "Two of our neighbors saw him this morning and he was going in and out of the woods. One of the neighbors was able to get him to come in and called Animal Control.

"We thank everyone who tried to help us get him back. People put it on facebook and you put it on the Berlin Patch and it really helped. The whole neighborhood and town tried to help us.

"He seems to be doing good. He is still a little scared and is following us all over the house. He looks skinny like he didn't eat anything for the last few days. We are feeding him four times a day. We are taking him to the vet tomorrow morning to make sure he checks out OK."
