BERLIN, CT — The numbers are in and Berlin's boards and commissions are set, with Republicans still in control of the town's top governing body.

The following is Berlin's 2023 election results (confirmed winners bolded):

Berlin Mayor (vote for one)

Democrat: JoAnn Angelico-Stetson - 1,695

Republican: Mark H. Kaczynski (inc.) - 3,047

Town Council (vote for six)

Democratic candidates were:

Mark M. Pruzin - 1,892

Peter A. Rosso - 2,073

Kate Gillespie Atkinson - 2,021

Republican candidates were:

Charles Paonessa - 2,760

Donna Veach - 2,993

Sandra Coppola - 2,719

Republicans hold a 4-3 edge on Berlin's top-governing legislative body.

Board of Finance (vote for three)

Democratic candidates were:

Denise McNair - 2,409

Raul M. Fernandes - 1,821
