Vote This Week For Berlin's Top Gingerbread Houses
The Berlin-Peck Memorial Library's 16th annual Gingerbread House Contest is underway, with folks urged to come vote for the best this week.

BERLIN, CT — The Berlin-Peck Memorial Library was closed Tuesday for staff training, but when the public returns Wednesday, Dec. 17, they'll be treated to a sweet holiday wonderland of gingerbread.
That's because the Berlin-Peck Memorial Library's 2025 Gingerbread House Contest is now in the judging phase, and it's up to residents/library visitors to decide.
The last day to submit entries was last Saturday, and voting will take place all week through Friday, Dec. 19.

For now, folks are urged to visit the library, located at 234 Kensington Road, and see the myriad holiday displays of gingerbread, candy, and frosting.
The winner will be announced on Saturday, Dec. 20.

Monday, the library posted 51 photos of the entries, giving residents a sneak peek of what awaits them when they visit what appears to be a gingerbread museum of holiday creativity.
