Dr. Donna Risolo elected to Berlin Town Council

Democratic council member, Donna Risolo, elected to succeed Councilor Jack Fazzino

BERLIN, CT — The Berlin Democratic Town Committee is pleased to welcome Dr. Donna Risolo as the newest member of the Berlin Town Council. Dr. Risolo was confirmed unanimously by the Town Council on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. She succeeds Jonathan "Jack" Fazzino following his November election as State Representative from the CT 83rd House District.

"While I will miss the daily work of local government, I have every confidence that Councilor Risolo will offer a thoughtful, valued perspective on the town council", said Representative Fazzino. "I look forward to working with her and all our town officials in moving Berlin forward."

Julie Erickson, chairperson of the Berlin Democratic Town Committee, praised Dr. Risolo's advocacy and dedication to service.

"Donna brings a passion for community planning and business development", said Erickson. "She will be a steadfast voice for residents and a strong advocate for Berlin."

Dr. Risolo, who holds a doctorate in Education from Columbia University, is employed by the Capital Region Education Council (CREC) and is the owner of College Prep Tutors, a Berlin-based college admissions consulting firm.
