BERLIN, CT — Local Democrats are hosting a hot dog fundraiser this Saturday to raise money for the upcoming municipal elections. The Berlin Democratic Town Committee is hosting <a href="https://secure.anedot.com/berlin-democrats/2025-family-fun" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">"Cookout the Vote"</a> on Saturday, July 19, at the Berlin VFW, located at 152 Massirio Drive. It will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. and all are invited to attend. In addition to hot dogs and other refreshments, the event will feature fun for the whole family, including games and entertainment. Tickets are $25 for adults, with children under 17 free. Preceding the event, the Berlin Democratic Town Committee will have its nominating meeting at 4 p.m. at the Berlin VFW Pavilion.There, Dems will nominate the slate of Democratic candidates for the 2025 municipal elections, including candidates for mayor, town council, board of finance, police commission, and board of assessment appeals.
