The Berlin-Peck Memorial Library Thursday, July 24, is hosting a special children's program on the science of poop and pooping.

BERLIN, CT — The Berlin-Peck Memorial Library on Thursday is hosting a program that may be funny, but it is no joke.

The library, located at 234 Kensington Road, Berlin, is hosting an event it is calling "The Poop Museum," and, in case one is curious, it is exactly what the name entails.

From 1 to 2 p.m., the event for grades kindergarten and up will cover "the serious science of poop and pooping."

According to the library, its fecal follies program will be "delivered with the silliness that you might imagine accompanying a program about poop."

It will be hosted by presenter Susie Maguire, who is a creative learning and development specialist, in addition to being an award-winning teacher and storyteller.
