Scholarship available thru the Kensington Garden Club

Kensington Garden Club Seeks Scholarship Applicant

Every year, the Kensington Garden Club presents a scholarship to a graduating high school student who resides in Berlin, East Berlin or Kensington, who will be attending an institution of higher education after high school. This $1,500 scholarship is available to qualifying students whose future goal is to pursue a career in one or more of the following fields: Agronomy, Agriculture, Botany,Conservation, Ecology, Environmental Control, Forestry, Horticulture, Landscape Design, and Land Management, as well as Business/General Studies within the goal of Agriculture or Environmental Sciences. The recipient will be chosen basedon a cumulative GPA of 80 or higher, or its equivalent, character references, andthe applicant’s personal statement regarding his/her career goals andcommitment to the chosen field of study.
