In just over 30 days since taking office, the administration has sparked outrage by unconstitutionally withholding congressionally approved funds for U.S. departments, illegally firing hundreds of thousands of federal workers, and alienating key global allies. Today’s press conference further accelerated the deterioration of the United States’ international standing, raising concerns about the administration’s motivations—especially amid fears of economic recession and an escalating constitutional crisis.
