UpBeat To Mark Anniversary With Adult Training

After 25 years, UpBeat still churning out leaders.

Berlin's UpBeat is celebrating its 25th anniversary on Saturday, February 9th with a free adult training workshop at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cromwell at 5 p.m.

UpBeat was established in 1988 to promote cooperation among students and provide programs that will encourage them to grow as members of society. It has succeeded in involving students with engaging projects directed at confronting and resolving issues in their community.

For its 25th Anniversary, UpBeat hopes to bring some of the same lessons to adults.

The workshop aims to provide attendees with a motivational program that stresses the importance of making the right choices, keeping a positive attitude, and building leadership skills. In addition to the training, event organizers will hold a presentation on the history of Upbeat and its plans for another inspirational 25 years.
