4-Car Crash In Bethel Sends 2 To Hospital; Under Investigation

The crash took place on Thursday evening at Plum Tree Road. Six others refused medical care, and all four cars were towed from the scene.

BETHEL, CT — Two people were transported to Danbury Hospital after a four-car crash occurred in the area of 71 Plum Tree Road Thursday evening.

The Bethel and Stony Hill Fire Departments responded to a report of the crash at around 7:41 p.m. Thursday, Bethel Fire Chief Chris McCollam told Patch.

Two people were transported to the hospital, and McCollam said the extent of their injuries is unknown. Six others refused medical assistance at the scene, and were advised to seek medical attention if they noticed any symptoms or pain.

All three of Bethel's ambulances responded to the scene, McCollam said, so Brookfield firefighters stood by with an ambulance at the Stony Hill Fire Department in case a separate incident arose.

All four vehicles were towed from the scene, and the cause of the accident remains under investigation.
