Amazon Wants To Hire A Lot Of Connecticut Residents This Holiday Season

The company said it expects many of its holiday positions to transition into regular, full-time jobs.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Amazon Thursday announced it is hiring for more than 120,000 positions this holiday season across its United States network of fulfillment centers, sortation centers and customer service sites, and that includes locations in Connecticut. Amazon has job openings at the fulfillment centers in Wallingford and Windsor.

Last year, thousands of holiday positions were transitioned to regular, full-time roles after the holidays and the company said it expects to continue that trend this year. (Subscribe to your local patch in Connecticut for the latest breaking news and our daily newsletters.)
