Aquarion Crews Have 'Not Yet Begun Repairs' In Bethel: Spokesperson
Aquarion repair crews remain tied up in Newtown, and have not yet begun repairs in Bethel.

BETHEL, CT — Aquarion Water Company has told its Bethel customers their crews have not yet begun repairs in town, due to continued flooding at the utility's Newtown wellfield location.
"We are working with town and state officials to have substantial debris removed from a collapsed railroad trestle in the nearby river," an Aquarion spokesperson posted on social media.
The debris from the collapsed trestle is preventing floodwaters from receding from the area, according to Aquairion officials.
