Art Portraying 'What It Means to Be From Bethel' on Display in Hartford
Student artwork on display in Hartford Legislative Office Building.
Bethel Middle School sixth-graders’ artwork illustrating, “What it means to be from Bethel,” are hanging in the Legislative Office Building in Hartford.
Students from Ms. Berescik’s Art Enrichment class submitted an original piece of art with a written statement about why they choose to represent Bethel and presented them to State Reps. David Scribner (R-107) and Dan Carter (R-2).
Three winners were chosen from among all the entries and are currently on exhibition at the Legislative Office Building.
First place went to Isabella Donatucci with her work, “P.T. Barnum Circus Horses.”
Second went to Ryan Dudley’s, “Bethel Music Department is a Top 100 School District.”
Danielle DaSilva took third with, “Bright Futures for Bethel Children.”
