Bethel Advances to American Legion U19 Baseball Regionals

BETHEL, CT - After a thrilling weekend of edge-of-your-seat ballgames, the Bethel U19 American Legion baseball team has advanced to the Southern Regional bracket of the state tournament.

Bethel, the sixth seed, shut out Naugatuck 1-0 in the sectional opener Saturday, then edged Orange 2-1 Sunday to earn a berth in the regionals. They will take on No. 3 Stratford Wednesday.
