The Bethel Garden Club is pleased to announce its Annual Gardening Series. Three great programs will be held at the Bethel Public Library. On March 1 join us for "Gardening for a Healthier Planet" to discover ways to garden for Earth's betterment. Mary Wison, founding member of Protect Our Pollinators, explains the new ethic in landscape management that takes into consideration the importance of pollinators, and how using native plants can overcome many problems created by past practices. On March 29 get expert advice on "Power Equipment for Gardeners" from Mark Guss. Learn about the pros and cons of battery and gas, see some equipment up close, find out which is best for your needs, and ask questions. On April 10 the series concludes with "Fabulous Shrubs for the Four-Season Garden." Speaker Julia Cencebaugh Kloth tells us how to select the very best shrubs for structure and color throughout all of New England's seasons. All three programs run 6:30-7:45 pm at the Bethel Public Library, 189 Greenwood Avenue, Bethel. Registration is requested for in-person and required for Zoom, at the Library's website bethellibrary.org, or call 203-794-8756.
