Bethel Karate Family Travels and Competes Together
Three Generations all Black Belt Masters
On October 10 - 12, this family of three generations set out to compete at Diamond Nationals in Minnesota. This is one of the largest and most prestigious Karate Tournaments in the Country. Joann Sainz (grandma) age 80, competed in the 60 and above category. Her daughter Roxanne Doyon age 55, placed 1st in her division and won Overall Grand Champion for all age 50 and above forms competitors. Jared Dunn age 30 (Roxanne's son), received a 2nd place and a 3rd place competing against the best Black Belts from all over the U.S. and Canada. Gabrielle Rudolph (Jared's little sister) age 25 received a 1st place and two 2nd place finishes in the Traditional Kata Divisions.
Next stop is Canada for yet another tournament this upcoming November.
