Bethel Man Killed In Route 25 Accident In Trumbull: State Police

TRUMBULL, CT — A Bethel man was killed in a single motor vehicle accident on Route 25 in Trumbull, state police said.

At 9:10 p.m. Sunday, Domingo K. Gutierrez, 44, of Shelter Rock Road, was driving a 2020 Acura southbound on Route 25 in the left lane just north of exit 9, state police said.

He lost control of his car and struck a tree off the roadway in the median, state police said. The car came to a stop with its front end against the tree, state police said. Gutierrez was taken to St. Vincent's Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, state police said.
